Side Stretch - September 24th, 2009

There are many different stretches available and it seems like there are many more new ones being created. Anyways, one of these many stretches are side stretches. It’s just simply when you stretch your sides because your sides do help balance our bodies and are also important part of our bodies. Of course, there are various side stretches and they are great for warm-up exercise as well as cool-down or they can be just great for stretching. These side stretches help with improving our flexibility and I also think they help build stronger abs because you are using your abdomen area to stretch sideways by coming up and down or from left to right. And yes, I think side stretches are included in many different types of exercises including yoga exercise which I think is great and have heard many great results from yoga exercising. There are many simple side stretches that anyone can do and that is just simply sitting or standing and have your arms above your head, and then move to each side slowly and gradually. It might not be too good idea to move to each side too far, know your range and don’t stretch too far down. These side stretches can ease or relieve some tensions on our sides.
